Rickey Henderson was someone who was near and dear to the hearts of the 2 Dummies, so when we got word of his passing over the weekend, we took some time to start the show with our memories of the greatest base stealer of all time.
This past Saturday was football heaven with 2 NFL games and 4 college football playoff games. But it all started Friday night with Notre Dame having a fairly easy time with Indiana in what turned out to be the first Fighting Irish home football game not televised on NBC since 1990.
It's been a while since the 2 Dummies have chatted about the NBA, and they get into what the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks have been doing. The Nets seem to be in full tank mode and they traded away one of their best players in Dennis Schröder. Meantime, the Knicks seem to be finally playing well as a unit.
Caitlin Clark was in the news again as it always seems like controversy follows her. This time, the Washington Mystics owner is wondering why Clark was named Time Athlete of the Year while the entirety of the WNBA got shunned.
We keep it simple for our halftime show as we discuss our top Christmas movies.
And finally, we end the show chatting about our favorite things from 2024, whether it was sports moments, movies, shows, video games, whatever.
