After a hugely successful underage career where she was capped for Ireland under 17 and 19 teams, she went on to enjoy, and is still enjoying, a stellar club career with Wexford Youths. Injury meant she got limited game time this year where Wexford contended for league and cup honours right to the end of the season. Now, she is fit and ready for the 2023 season.
As a teenager, she roomed with Amber Barrett and was thrilled when the Donegal player scored that historic winner against Scotland which propelled Ireland into the World Cup finals next year.
In this interview, Lauren, among other things, discusses the fall-out which arose after the Scottish game when Ireland's celebrations went viral.
