Robbie Foley reminisces on great playing days with Naomh Eoin and Carlow.
Manage episode 397720268 series 3324977
Robbie Foley won his last senior hurling championship with Naomh Eoin in 2005. If someone had told him then that the Myshall club would not win another title in the following 17 years, Robbie would surely have thought they were fantasising.
Yet the balance of power changed and Robbie looks at this while reflecting on his Christy Ring Cup successes while he explains why he supported Mount Leinster Rangers when they played Oulart-the-Ballagh in the Leinster senior club final.
He is adamant that the balance of power will change eventually and he looks forward to when that happens.
Robbie is also the nephew of the great Tom Foley who trained Cheltenham winner, Danoli, and has a keen interest in horses himself.
