Local Fish is a New York City based startup hip-hop duo. Their eclectic, experimental, and energetic sound is introducing something fresh and authentic to the musical landscape, especially with their origins in Wu-tang's own Staten Island. Comprised of rappers Nü and Renaps, the duo is carving their own path in hip-hop from the ground up starting with their debut album Leave the Block.

In this conversation, we talk about how to produce a project on a small budget, scale a career in music from the early stages, and some of the challenges that early artists have to navigate.
