Framework - David's Kingship Demonstrates Lifelong Sanctification
Manage episode 439656036 series 3512026
What does it mean to be a man/woman after God's own heart? And is this even possible for believers today. In this session, Jeremy looks at the distinctions between King Saul and King David; what or who they were focused on, how they responded to God's direction, and what they did when they fell out of fellowship through sin. And lest you think they had it easy because there were fewer distractions back then, remember Lot who was tormented daily by evil around him and yet in Hebrews he is called righteous Lot. In the midst of a degenerate society, Lot somehow remained focused on God, not as well as David, but he also is an example for us.
