DraftKings is facing criticism from customers who were hacked, with close to $300,000 in funds being affected. The online betting platform has been targeted by credential-stuffing attacks, which allow cyberthieves to make off with customer funds. DraftKings cofounder and President Paul Liberman has released a statement saying that the company is investigating the reports and that they believe the login information of these customers was compromised on other websites. They are urging customers to use unique passwords and not to share their information with third-party platforms. So far, less than $300,000 of customer funds have been affected, and DraftKings intends to make whole any customer that was impacted.
