The Boston Celtics have been putting in the work behind the scenes all season on ways they can improve the team via trade and with the 2023 NBA trade deadline less than two weeks away, more rumbles about what they might be looking to accomplish before the end of the day on Feb. 9.

While it seems unlikely that the Celtics will be making any blockbuster moves, there's been chatter that the front office is looking for additional depth on the wing and in the frontcourt. With both the team's starting big men and star wings having played heavy minutes through the first half of the season, finding some players who can at least play some significant regular season minutes if not a postseason role as well.

To get to the bottom of what NBA insiders are hearing about what the Celtics hope to do this offseason, the hosts of the CLNS Media "Celtics Lab" podcast linked up with The Athletic's Jared Weiss to talk all things 2023 NBA trade deadline.

We also get caught up on Boston's play of late, some recent injuries to key players, and other issues of note.
