Welcome to today's YouTube For Realtors WALK AND TALK #48- I have so many things going through my head every day about YouTube for Realtors that I just want to get it all out! I get asked so many questions everyday and coach so many agents it's time to answer all of those in depth, on my walk to the gym!
In todays episode I do a deep dive into This 1 Statistic Will Explode Your Real Estate YouTube Channel. People are wanting to grow their channel. We we're looking at views, subscribers and at overall real estate. If you want to grow your real estate YouTube channel there is one thing that you need to focus on. A lot of people fixed their ailment of not having YouTube growth. Like they are only doing 1 video a week then will stop for a while, but this doesn't mean that you can't do 2 or 3 videos a week. But you have to understand this one principle if you're going to do more videos per week.
When we are growing our YouTube channels it is all about videos and what I do is I jump into the analytics. I know what numbers you need to be shooting for now. (I have actually shared it with one of my episode here) If you look at my Portland channel, it is never going to have the data that numbers the statistics I am striving for and shooting for. On my Portland Channel there's a video with 60,000 views and there's one with 40 or 50,000 views. Those videos are almost three years old and those were not the ones where they just shoot off and I never had a video that explode. Because as I give all of this free content away to you homies and absolutely just pave the road. All of that hard work that I did in the beginning was on that Channel and by hard work I mean all of the wrong videos that I did for over a year absolutely just demolish that Channel so when people tell me I'm going to do two videos a week, I'm going to start doing YouTube shorts. I'm going to start doing this. I know what this will do to your channel, It will kill your channel. So my Portland Channel has 100 plus videos that are a minute long, 2 minutes, 3 minutes and the average view durations on my overall channel are never going to get up because 100 plus videos that sat out there and I never unlisted them. I have these videos that are starting to get into the algorithm vlogs map videos they're taking off, people are watching and loving them. So what YouTube's trying to do is take the other videos in my channel and recommend those out too, people are loving these videos. They are taking all those other videos out there and start recommending. You need to hear more from this episode homies!
