Dr Besteman holds the position of Francis F. Bartlett and Ruth K. Bartlett Professor of Anthropology at Colby College and is the author of several books, including the forthcoming 'Militarized Global Apartheid' (Duke University Press, 2020), and several edited collections, including the recent 'Life by Algorithms: How Roboprocesses Are Remaking Our World' (University of Chicago Press, 2019).
