In this episode of The Efficient Practice Podcast, I have the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Mark Causey, a Board-Certified Orthodontist from Gainseville, GA who recently came up with a 3D Printable Mask Framework as a viable solution for the shortage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Causey owns two practices throughout North Georgia and is married to his wife of 13 years. They have three children. He graduated from the Medical College School of Dentistry in 2010 and received his orthodontic certificate from Medical College of Georgia Department of Orthodontics in 2012.

Dr. Causey has done extensive research and has many publications. He has held several leadership positions and is also a faculty member at Augusta University School of Dental Medicine.

- How he came up with the concept of his 3D printer mask concept

-How border molding (a technique dentists usually used for dentures) helps provide a custom seal
