Disordered eating & exercise is an epidemic among women in America. We are addicted to New Year's resolutions to lose weight, thinspiration, dieting, & workout programs. We contain, control, & shame our bodies because we seek validation outside of ourselves. What we really need to do is listen to ourselves & to the needs of our body. Our bodies hold wisdom & healing within our cells, but instead we tune them out as we slave away at the gym. This is no longer sustainable for us as women & we MUST change how we move our bodies.
