Hey Gorgeous, if you want success on your fertility journey, you’ve got to have the mindset for it. It’s time to kick fear, negativity, doubt, shame, jealousy, and the whole clown car of low vibe fertility journey BS to the curb. I’m your host, Roseanne Austin, fertility mindset master, former prosecutor and recovering type A control freak perfectionist.

I use the power of mindset to get pregnant naturally and have my baby boy at 43. Despite years of fertility treatment failure, I help women across the globe beat the odds on their fertility journey just like I did. Get ready for a quick hit of confidence, joy, feminine, badassery, and loads of hell Yes.

For your fertility journey. It’s time to get fearless, baby fearlessly fertile. Let’s do this. Welcome to the Fearlessly Fertile Podcast, episode 148. Adieu, 2021. Close the year with gratitude, growth, and decision. Hey loves! Woo! We are in the very last week of the year. I am so stoked to be here with you because I have something super special for you.

We are going to bring this year to a close, and I just love the opportunities that this time of year brings. Sometimes reflecting on all this year has been about for us gets a bad rap because people focus on all the shit that went wrong. As part of this community, I’m going to take an educated guess that you’re smarter than that, or at least working on it.

Thinking like a woman who succeeds on this journey requires that you put yourself in a position to tell the whole truth about shit. Not just wallowing in the negative. It’s all about yes, and. Yes, crazy shit happens, and I know that the desire in my heart to be a mom is there because it was meant for me.

Yes, and. It’s about understanding that the universe is a kind and generous place. We may not always understand the shit that comes up in our lives. We may, at times, hate it. But, we can meet it with gratitude, growth, and decision, which is what we are talking about today. Nothing about any of this is denial or sugarcoating anything.

What we’re doing today is the essence of being a mature adult with perspective who takes full responsibility for her experience in this life. There are about a zillion things that have already been written and shared about gratitude, so I’m certain that you’re familiar with it. What I think makes gratitude so powerful is that it is an expression of our faith.

Faith in the love and generosity of God, universe source more often than not, we associate gratitude for the easily identifiable quote unquote good things that come up in our lives. What about the quote unquote bad, complex, downright nasty, and heartbreaking? You see, developing the capacity to have gratitude for all that shit as well, even in the midst of devastation, is your golden ticket to freedom from the hairy hands of paralyzing fear and terror that comes from uncertainty.

Tuck that ticket into your back pocket, mamas! So that even in the depths of your despair, it will be your lifeline. That being said, what we’re doing here is more than just expressing gratitude. This is us taking it two more steps. The final being what often separates the mediocre from the truly extraordinary.

It’s one thing to express gratitude. It’s another to specifically identify the growth the circumstance offers you. Have you ever taken the time to specifically ask how, what you are grateful for, has supported your growth? How are you better for the thing? Not just better for possessing the thing or having the experience, But what about the growth you can reap from it?

When we reflect on what we’re grateful for, can identify the opportunity for growth, the true masterstroke comes from the decision we make as a result. A significant reason why so many suffer on this journey is because they haven’t made a decision. They haven’t decided who they are going to be, how they will respond to whatever comes their way, and what they truly desire.

Yes, you may say you want a baby, but have you decided that you would be successful? Have you decided that you will be successful? Have you decided that you will do whatever it takes? Have you decided that your heart is open to how this experience unfolds? Decision does not mean that we are inflexible or judgmental in how this shit plays out.

Decision means success is a non negotiable. It can sound like Look, I may not know when and I may not know how this baby’s getting here, but this bitch isn’t going anywhere, and she doesn’t give two shits what anyone else thinks. Indeed, perhaps your language is different, but whatever language you choose to use, let it be that of a woman who holds herself.

And her desires in the highest regard, with relentless commitment. Closing out the year with the intention of gratitude, growth, and decision will give you the chance to take stock in where you’ve been and where you’re headed. It’s an incredible gift. Take the time to sit with what I’ve shared here. Don’t be someone who wakes up on January 1st having no fucking clue what the new year will be about for her.

That will leave you flat footed and unprepared. Without the resilience you are definitely going to need for what the new year has in store. Be the woman that beats the odds, baby! And be kind to yourself. Celebrate everything that you’ve done this year. I bet that there’s so much crazy shit, so much growth that you’ve had.

That you might completely overlook it, but do yourself a favor and see it. See the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly simply for what it is. It is simply an experience. At any given time, you get to choose what anything means in your life. And remember, that your mission of becoming a mom and this desire in your heart is not only valid, it’s a critical part of your life’s purpose.

It’s an honor being by your side, Mama, and I cannot wait to see what we create in 2022. So here’s an exercise to take what I’ve shared here to the next level. Close your year in gratitude, growth, and decision. Step 1. Download and print the special worksheet my team and I have created for you as a gift to celebrate the end of 2021.

Step 2. Set aside a minimum of 30 minutes to complete this exercise. When you download and print the worksheet, which I’m strongly encouraging you to print this shit, because when you take the time to write, we are engaging an entirely different mechanism in your brain. We’re going to slow you down and really get you into a place where you can see whole truth.

So do what I’m asking you to do, ladies. You’ll be grateful for it. The first column is for listing the things you’re grateful for this year. We start intentionally with gratitude because it will call upon the wisest part of you. Far too many people just bitch and moan about their lives and completely forget that waking up in the morning is not guaranteed.

Think about the top 15 things you are grateful for and list them. There’s no question that there are more than 15 things to be grateful for in the past 360 ish days. But feel into this and pick the 15 things that mean the most to you. Don’t forget the little things. Having your limbs and your five senses is a big fucking deal.

Okay? Don’t, don’t overlook the little shit. In the second column, for each item that you are grateful for, you will list the specific growth that the thing offered you. For example, if you’re grateful for the fact that you have both arms, Maybe the growth this offers you is remembering that you are able bodied, strong, and maybe you want to use your arms in a new specific way, like ceramics, painting, cookie baking, whatever it is for you.

Just identify the growth. If you’re grateful for your friends, Maybe the growth this offers you is a chance to become a better listener. You get the picture. And in the last column, name a decision that you will make moving forward as a result of your gratitude for and the growth you received from that particular experience.

So here’s another example. You know, if you’re grateful for your arms, perhaps a decision you make is that you will start a ceramics class, or exercise those arms and grow your guns so that you can look hot in a sleeveless shirt, or that you are going to make a point of carrying some old lady’s groceries every time you get the chance.

These are just some ideas, baby, but you know where I’m headed with this. You’ve got to punctuate the gratitude and growth with a decision. Just make a decision that moves you forward, feels awesome, and is, and that you just are ecstatic about. Getting great at decision making, I mean, this is a whole reason why I dedicated a fucking column to it.

It’s one of the things that we as women must get better at and quit. Fucking spinning, but just make a decision and you’ll feel so good. You’re going to get real good at it, baby. And another thing about decision, the decision, as I said, can be anything, but let’s be clear that you only make decisions that you will honor and stick to.

And to help you out with this, check out episode 33 for an in depth explanation of what a decision really is. If you haven’t heard it or need a refresher, make sure you go back and listen. Episode 33 is straight up OG. It is one of the most important episodes I’ve done, and that shit will serve you for the rest of your life.

Tolerance of wishy washy indecision is a mechanism of self sabotage. It’s how we keep ourselves small as fuck as women, and spinning for no fucking reason. I fucking hate indecision. It’s repelling and ugh. If you look closely at people who damn themselves to mediocrity, indecision is smeared all over that shit.

I can’t talk about that anymore because it’s going to make me puke all over my podcast setup and I don’t want to do that. Back to the matter at hand. Complete this exercise, my loves, with an open heart. Drop the drama. Don’t beat yourself up and keep compassion close at hand. When you’re done, put this list, this beautiful worksheet that you’re putting your heart and soul into somewhere.

You can see it daily as a reminder of the gifts this life gives us on the regular and the decisions you have made to make your success no longer a matter of if, but when. And step three, text the link to this podcast episode to someone you think could benefit from it. Screenshot this episode and put it in your Facebook or Insta story tagging me.

Share the shit out of this! And while you’re at it, take a moment to give us a 5 star review. It’ll make you feel so good to show your gratitude for this content my team and I serve you with every week. And don’t forget, the worksheet either came in the email you got announcing this podcast or in the podcast description.

You just click the link. It’s right there for you, baby. And it is a gift. And let it bless you all year. Love, it’s highly likely that your reflection on this past year and the exercise I’ve given you here has got you thinking about what this new year is going to be about for you. You might have identified some patterns that just aren’t serving you and realize it’s time to start thinking, believing, and taking action like a woman who succeeds on this journey.

You can decide to become that woman. I don’t care what you’ve been through this year, how many times you quote unquote failed. You get to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and put yourself on a trajectory towards success. Because look, as I’ve reflected on what this year has been in my work, I can’t help but think of all the women that have come through my program and are now pregnant or holding babies today because they dared to believe.

It’s humbling. And incredibly exciting. Something truly extraordinary happens when a woman makes a decision, decision to be successful. Suddenly, the seemingly impossible becomes possible. Proof of that is all over my Instagram, YouTube, and here in this podcast. You’ve heard their stories, you’ve heard their voices.

Decide that you, my love, will be one of them. This is your chance to change everything about your fertility journey in the new year. My Fearlessly Fertile Method program is for women who intend to get pregnant in the next 12 months and say hell yes to covering their bases, mind and body. So you don’t have to look back on this time in your life with regret.

I work with women who are committed to success. To apply for your interview for this program, go to my website, www.FromMaybeToBaby.com and apply for an interview there. My methodology is to help women around the world make their mom dreams come true. Their results speak for themselves. If you don’t have a mindset for success on this journey, baby, you got a gaping hole in your strategy.

Let’s fix that shit. And set you up for success. Till next time, change your mindset, change your results. Love this episode of the Fearlessly Fertile podcast? Subscribe now and leave an awesome review. Remember, the desire in your heart to be a mom is there because it was meant for you. When it comes to your dreams, keep saying hell yes.
