God calls us to be in community, but more than that, he calls us to engage in a shared purpose; to be united as followers of Jesus. He knows we can thrive if, together, we commit ourselves to his cause in the form of the local church, with the services and programmes being the vehicle for reaching others. So are we willing to unite and risk an emotional, financial and time-costly journey with God Having a shared mission can be energising and motivating – it's the way the world gets changed. Today is Vision Sunday and the launch of gift month where we hope to inspire people to commit to the mission and vision of the church. Steve will explain the purpose behind the practices of the Forge and encourage all of us to unite in 'helping people find and follow Jesus. WE HELP PEOPLE FIND & FOLLOW JESUS. We know that life is tough; now more than ever. We’re sure you’ve got questions and uncertainties, but we believe Jesus can make difference, that faith can bring hope; even in these times and that the Church should be light in the darkness.
