We talk a lot about spiritual warfare. We have songs that declare our weapons are not guns but prayer. We also talk about God fighting our battles. If God is going to fight our battles, why do we need weapons? Is the fight ours, or is it God's? God has it decided, but we still have to walk through it sometimes. Our praise is NOT a weapon. It is something that we should do because He is God. Paul and Silus were not singing to get out of jail; they were singing to praise. As a result, the jailer's family was saved. God will use some things we are going through to bless someone else. In our text, the man of God tells them to march out against the enemy, but they do not have to fight. There are times in our life we face things we don't have the strength or training to do. We must rely on God to see us through those times. God has to take care of it. The battle is not ours but God’s. When we praise, it is not a weapon; it is praise to God for the victory.
