In Part Two of the conversation, Dr. James Taylor and Rosa Clemente delve into a recent rally held by Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden, which was widely criticized for its inflammatory rhetoric. They debated whether the rally’s divisive content should be ignored or if it would resonate with particular groups. Shifting focus, we then examine the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where the ongoing conflict has led to thousands of amputations, including early estimates of over 1,000 children. Each of these survivors faces both immediate and lifelong care needs, yet Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure is severely compromised. Many surgeries performed under challenging conditions are suboptimal, leaving countless individuals in need of additional interventions. Amputees require early, sustained rehabilitation and reliable access to prosthetic services—services currently out of reach due to damaged facilities, displaced healthcare professionals, and pervasive insecurity.

Hard Knock Radio is a drive-time Hip-Hop talk show on KPFA (94.1fm @ 4-5 pm Monday-Friday), a community radio station without corporate underwriting, hosted by Davey D and Anita Johnson.
