So far I've got fatherhood down pat, except for knowing what to do when the baby is awake. It's Week 3 as a Dad and Zubes' head has officially cracked open and begun oozing all over the inside of this show. And believe it or not Jake's taste in television nor the general news from the outside world are offering much stability keeping things trending in the right direction. Thank goodness for baseball, the true North Star when it comes to keep this whole operation spinning (clockwise?) the way it's supposed to be. Tuesday's shithousery (Vlad tagged him) against the Yankees aside, the Jays continue to scrap out some wins despite not being the conquering powerhouse we have expected offensively, but the pieces in place have us feeling fine that the good will outweigh the bad in the long run, even if our dream Bradley Zimmer / Dexter Fowler outfield apparently isn't going to happen.
