As a part of the Migration Literature Week, Stella Mililli, Ph.D. candidate in literature, will deliver a public talk on Refugee Literature for Young Adults, which reflects her research project. " YA Refugee Literature: Developing Sustainable Literacy in the EFLClassroom."The talk will explain the role of refugee literature in education and, more broadly, in society. A collective moment to 'learn and unlearn' for a more inclusive dialogue and communication. How can refugee literature forge ethical discourses of respect, tolerance, and responsibility inthe Norwegian classroom?Stella Mililli is a Ph.D. candidate in English literature at the Dept. of Teacher Education at NTNU. Her project is entitled "YA Refugee Literature: Developing Sustainable Literacy in the EFL Classroom." She comes originally from Italy and has lived in Trondheim for the last five years. In her free time, Stella explores sense of belonging through performing with an international improv theatre group.
