LSU football had an explosive month of July in recruiting, moving from a mid-40s ranking to a top ten recruiting class in the country for 2023. But only three of LSU's current commits are from the state of Louisiana. Should LSU fans be concerned about how Brian Kelly and his staff can recruit in state?

Sports Illustrated's Director of Football Recruiting, John Garcia Jr., joins Locked On LSU to break down why Kelly & company haven't landed several in-state Louisiana talent for this upcoming year and why fans shouldn't hit the panic button. What else does this 2023 class need? How can we predict Brian Kelly and Mike Denbrock will want to run this LSU offense based on the offensive talent they are recruiting?

Plus, Brian Kelly doesn't have a history of recruiting in Louisiana, or for that matter, the southeast as a whole. Why that isn't necessarily a bad thing and how LSU can use that to its advantage in the recruiting race in the SEC.
