In this episode of Origin of Speakcies, Scott and Steve discuss the definitions and origins of the idioms "Cabin Fever" and "Basket Case," both of which seem appropriate for these times.

Listen now to find out whether or not you may be suffering from cabin fever, and learn why the idea of a basket case was so controversial that two Surgeon Generals had to make statements denying their existence.

In the New Slang segment, Steve explores the term "Snatched," while making sure to enunciate very clearly each time he says it.

This episode also features the first entry of "Prison Slang with Mindy the Dog," where Mindy taps into her extensive knowledge of life behind bars to explain some prison slang. She also gives a peek behind the curtain into her current life living with her new family, which takes a surprising turn for the violent.
