Part of the Plan and Purpose of God for us in this life is to 'Labor to enter into the Rest of God. Or, to labor in order to enter into our Everlasting rest with the Lord in Heaven. All of the saints of God are to labor for the Gospel of Christ either through preaching the Gospel of Christ and/or supporting those who do. This is our 'Labor' which we do faithfully because we love the Lord and want to please Him, who is the author and finisher of our faith toward Him. In Hebrews 4:1-12, Paul speaks of laboring in faith in order to enter into the everlasting rest of God He has prepared for all those who love Him.
