Love God, love people, and change the world. We believe the life and lessons of Jesus aren’t just good advice, but are Good News for us here and now. As a church, we are all about following Jesus and know there’s no end to that journey—we’re more about becoming than arriving. We are committed to becoming a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, multiplying movement of Christ followers, equipping and empowering our kids and students to not only be the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.

Pop n Jay got back together for a post-election discussion on everything from joy to despair, empathy to anger, TDS to PTSD. There's so much to celebrate post election 2024, but a lot of people close to us are feeling lost right now, so how are we to navigate these times as Christians? Join us for a unique spin on the deciding right wing victory of 2024 plus commemorate Veteran's Day 2024.…
On Ladders and Life! From reading OSHA safety regulations to insulting moral relativists, this philosophy sesh with Pop is a great way to spend a half hour. In analogizing the three points of contact on a ladder to our own preparedness for all life throws at us, Pop gives us all lots to consider here as we steer our ships to our ultimate destination.…
Some might say the standards are too low for those waiting for animated films that don't have propaganda seeping from every pixel, but we say WAHOOO! a good ol' fashioned romp through Rainbow Road is just what the Doctor Mario ordered! Join us for a light-hearted review of the biggest film of the year.…
What's another year off between friends? Glad you're here to join Pop n Jay as they pick up where they left off philosophizing about BIG topics like TRUTH, BEAUTY, and GOODNESS. Of course, in this vale of tears, we also have LIES, UGLINESS, and EVIL, otherwise known as the AWFUL. Join us for a romp through the muck and mire of life; we've got ideas for not just coping with it all, but seeing the true good in everything.…
Gloria in excelsis deo! In this episode, we talk to Pop about his novel, Guardian Dear, and answer some hard hitting questions about the primary characters in that book: angels! We get into some touchy subjects, like the fact that humans can never be angels (or vice versa), whether angels have wings or not and if angels really are in the outfield. Alright, we never got to that last one, but there will be a part 2! Enjoy!…
Pop n Jess are BACK and BETTER THAN EVER! If not better, we are, at least, BACK. Kinda like Backstreet Boys. Back and then back again. Or maybe we're like Bilbo. There and back again. Anyway, the time is at hand to talk about the hand of time and how at hand it is to be talking about timely matters. Sorry, I was channeling Kamala Harris there. We are talking about KIDS and the culture WAR raging against them. Join us. After all, it's a world of laughter, a world of tears and we are feeling all of it today!…
2021 is here and he told 2020 to hold his beer. Somehow (cough, cough) Biden and the leftists did it. They hold all the power in this nation, from "elected" to big tech, media to wall street, sea to shining sea--it's all statism all the time these days. You thought one mask was annoying? 2021 and the left have an answer for you: how about 2? 3? You thought a few executive orders in a first term were a bit excessive and perhaps an encroachment onto the legislature? How about 40+ in less than a month from dear leader Biden? With so many questions, who could possibly have all the answers? Well, join Pop and Jess to help remind yourself that no matter how much those power mad baby killers gum up the works of our country, the truth shall always set us free. Welcome, fellow freedom loving comrades!…
Hellllllo music lovers, thrill seekers, conversationalists all across the fruited plain. Welcome to another exciting excursion into podcast excellence...or at least an attempt at such. Pop and Jess devote this episode to discussing the bigggggg voice on the right. Rush Limbaugh meant so much to so many, and his passing has left an unfillable hole in this world. Join us as we reminisce about our dearly departed friend, El Rushbo, THE Mayor of Realville, the most dangerous man in America, the doctor of democracy, the Maha Rushie.…
Pop n Jay have a brief chat about the state of things in our land o' the free home of the depraved. Where do we go from here? What can we do? We chat about the circus in Minnesota, the media malpractice, the disparagement of law enforcement and how we all can keep moving forward.
To worry is human, to podcast about it DIVINE. Well, maybe not divine exactly, but Pop and Jess are back trying to elevate their worried games to a more spiritual level on this episode. With all the lockdown smackdown going down right now, there's definitely a lot to fret over, but don't worry, we have got several tips and tricks to get you out of your head and back in the game.…
There could never be a meme meme-y enough to convey the insanity of 2020...and we are barely at the halfway point. This week's episode involves throwing Molotov cocktails at rando police officers in the name of justice or racism or freeing Tibet. Pick your virtue to signal and get your riot on! America (as always) is suffering a whole lotta fools who just can't help but hate everything (and everyone) that has anything to do with the principles that undergird our nation. Join Pop the Cop and Jess the Mess as we try to make sense of the nonsense, find meaning in the destruction and remind ourselves what a good God we have in times even (or especially) such as these.…
Happy early Independence Day to one and all, be you patriotic peace lover or miscreant malcontent. We discuss America being under siege as the woefully ignorant rioters continue to burn down symbols of freedom, liberty and Christianity from sea to shining sea. We must stay vigilant against this insurrection, so we try to help motivate and arm as battle rages on. Join us before Big Brother erases the episode, won't you?…
Every generation thinks they are living in the end times, but we are the first to be right about it! JK kind of...if there were ever a more pressing need for heroes, I don't envy those living through it. Our world is riddled with ridiculousness and the time for heroism is at hand. The call is coming from inside the country! RISE UP! MEN OF THE WEST!…
Wow! We actually did it--we finally recorded a podcast. Enjoy our musings about this first week's topic: The Blessed Trinity.
