El auge de la popularidad del country a lo largo de los años 60 llevó a que en la segunda mitad de la década, grupos y artistas procedentes del pop, el folk o el rock se acercaran a ese género musical. Las temáticas, las formas vocales o instrumentos habituales del country -como el steel guitar- se encontraron con melodías del pop y la amplificación y sonidos del rock. No hay una fórmula exacta, aunque se podría definir simplemente como “tocar música country con la actitud del rocknroll”. En este episodio repasamos algunos de los nombres pioneros a la hora de dar forma a esa etiqueta que se conoce como country rock.
