The Florida Department of Health recently sent a clarifying email to health care workers in Florida regarding its policies concerning the treatment of gender dysphoria in minors. The Florida DOH included 5-point guidance criteria and no less than 10 scientific articles about the long-term psychological effects of resorting to irreversible medical interventions in children too early. Say what you will about the science of this issue, which contrary to leftist dogma is still a matter of debate, but it seems eminently reasonable to us to adopt more of a wait and see approach on such drastic measures for kids who aren't even yet old enough to pick their own bedtimes. Call us crazy, but no matter what, you can't call us whatever evil buzzword the left prefers today to shout down those they disagree with. For once, Florida is the sanest state in the union.
