My intention for this podcast is to offer you, the listener, and everyone who is part of the Changes with Coach K community, a unique perspective.
Even though we are all on a journey of our own, we can always learn something or open ourselves up to a different perspective when we hear about something someone else has gone through in their growth process.
None of us are perfect, and perfection is not what we should be striving for!
Many of us confuse perfectionism with being focused, but they are not the same thing. Self-focused individuals think of ways to improve themselves, while perfectionists focus more on what others think of them.
Perfectionism gets in the way of success and can lead to depression, anxiety, addiction, and life paralysis. Admitting our imperfections is never easy because it makes us vulnerable. To deal with our inherent vulnerability constructively, we must embrace it- even when it sucks!
