Episode 11: BONUS Chiapas Trip PT1
Manage episode 361975545 series 3471053
Pastor Chad and a small team traveled to the Southern-Most state of Mexico called Chiapas. Chiapas and its neighboring state of Oaxaca represent North America's highest concentration of unreached and least reached people groups.
Our team traveled to Chiapas on April 10 and returned on April 17th. It was a demanding trip. Chiapas peoples live in some of the most remote areas of North America. Most of the state is made up of high mountains and deep valleys. The elevation ranges from around 800 ft in the capitol to over 7000 ft in many areas.
Sadie & Chad discuss the work to take the gospel to the unreached, the challenges faced in areas where infrastructure is limited; the work to empower the local believers to carry on the work with confidence and authority. This is the first part of our BONUS tracks. We plan to record the 2nd part including other team members from the trip.
As Mission Teams return, we will add their interviews as Bonus tracks to our Seasons.
