- To understand much of history, context is not only key, it is king. History, much like Mother Nature, is fickle and brutal to the people and locations it touches. As you heard in our previous episode (Episode 134: Zip Code Unavailable), history selects what we are going to forget and what we will remember. Beyond this, history chooses what takes credit; which people told the first joke, who sang the first Gregorian-like chant, or who was the first great storyteller. The nature surrounding Gobleki Tepe kept those ruins for us to find, while the rest of the pre-Neolithic structures were destroyed. This episode, Zip Code Unattainable, will deal with much of the same as the previous episode except closer to our current time and space. In this episode, we're talking about closed cities and locations where you are not allowed to step, either for high-security reasons or because it would be hazardous to your health.
