I used to think my all my dreams we’re truly meant for me,

I used to dream of things that would one day come to be.

I started to dream things that I thought beyond my reach,

And as result I started reaching things I never thought that I could reach.

Looking back in disbelief on what I’ never thought I’d do,

I see a journey toward impossible, and the impossible way through.

I learned that nothing is beyond your reach, because your reach is but a choice.

I learned that life is a gift granted, for us to look back and rejoice.

A chance for some to celebrate all that they thought they’d never do,

A chance for some to concentrate the fruit of dreams come true.

I chose to be amongst the latter; all I wanted was to rise.

Now speaking out amongst the risen, I truly feel alive.

I was born to be a coward, but I just couldn’t live that way,

I saw the rhythm of the masses and chose to go a different way.

I will be greater than expected, and I expected to be great,

I will be the best that I can be; I will define my fate.

Life can go down many roads, but we have will for which we choose,

We can take risks to seek out gains; we can accept the things we loose,

We can refuse to accept failure, we can turn every pain to gain,

We can choose to mourn the weather, or we can celebrate the rain.

I am in love with pain.
