This week, on The Conscious Consultant Hour, Sam is joined by Business Intuitive, Mindset Coach, and Speaker, Cheryl Brewster.

Cheryl Brewster always innately knew she was meant for something more. She was right. After building a successful corporate career, Cheryl took that proverbial leap of faith. In 2004, she followed her calling to combine her professional expertise with her intuitive gifts to guide clients in developing often overlooked yet key components in effective business building: trusting your instincts and reveling in your creativity. Thus her thriving venture, The Intuitive Life, was born.

Several years later, however, her beloved son’s unexpected health crisis rocked her to her very foundation, where she had to rely heavily on all her intrinsic resources of stamina, determination, and conviction. Amidst life’s most challenging circumstances, Cheryl discovered that it is possible to triumph by transforming the appallingly negative into radical peace and empowerment.

Now, through The Intuitive Life, Cheryl enhances her own knowledge with the latest discoveries in neuroscience to facilitate innovative training, workshops, and team-building seminars on communication and conflict resolution. Her personal intuitive business consultations and group masterminds are highly sought-after by individuals and organizations alike.

Close to her heart is the message she shares, that when we set aside self-doubt and tap into our intuitive creativity and sense of unlimited possibility, we can experience more delight in our revenue-building activities. We can achieve much more when we put more FUN in how we FUNction!

Show Notes

Segment 1

Sam welcomes us to the show this week by reminding us with an excerpt from his book that when we do need help, it’s okay to ask for it. Next, Sam introduces Cheryl Brewster, giving us a brief summary of what she accomplishes through her current venture, The Intuitive Life. Though Cheryl Brewster describes herself as someone who wasn’t necessarily particularly intuitive as a child, and that she spent time working in the corporate world, one day, she felt as though were being called to her current profession in intuition.

Segment 2

Going against what she had been taught as a fundamentalist, Cheryl found herself needing to be true to her heart, researching everything she possibly could about what it meant to be psychic and intuitive. She devoured the work of Edgar Casey, got involved with the ARE, and took many workshops. As she continued to get more involved, she discovered that one could utilize intuition within business, blending the two together. Next, Cheryl opens up about her son’s health crisis and how it strengthened both her own and her son’s spirituality.

Segment 3

Cheryl talks about what it was like to be ahead of her time, and how careful she had to be when introducing the idea of intuition within business. She discusses what it’s like to detach ourselves from the old way of doing business in order to pursue this intuitive way of doing business. Cheryl even uses an example of a client she had to illustrate some ideas about intuitively doing business.

Segment 4

As we return from the break, Cheryl talks about how making mistakes is an integral part of the “bigger picture.” If we stop judging mistakes as “wrong” or “bad,” we can truly allow ourselves to learn from them. Transitioning into a discussion about synchronicity, Cheryl talks about how a certain symbol kept recurring to her whenever she thought about leaving the corporate world and launching her current profession. We then close the podcast talking about Cheryl’s upcoming projects. To keep up with Cheryl’s work, check out the IntuitiveLife.com
