The Juice with Jeff #269
Manage episode 450700103 series 3583006
On this episode of the podcast, Lindsey Smith conducts and co-produces her fantastic, and very conversational interview with me thru Zoom. This is Lindsey's debut/first time on the podcast.
Much of this episode talks about things related to the podcast. Lindsey asks me questions like:
How did your TV and Radio Production training from the 1990's prepare you to launch and manage the podcast?
Do you have much experience being the interviewer yourself?
Have you always felt comfortable being recorded in audio form?
Who is your announcer at the beginning and ending of the post?
Lindsey talks briefly about a podcast she has herself on an occasional basis related to her Exhibitsmith business.
Tell me about the platforms your podcast are on?
She asks me if her interview is the final one for this year and then I explain to her how about the super amazing year we had with the snow and how we got to the milestone of having 85 episodes done during the 2024 Season with 50 of them being done in person.
Are you starting to compile a list of locations you want to go to for the in person interviews during 2025 and beyond? I talk about some of the cool outdoor locations we've gone to for some of the in person interviews over the last couple years.
What are your goals for the podcast next year?
For Lindsey's birthday on Inauguration Day, what fun ideas would you recommend for her to plan on her birthday?
Are there people beyond your social circle who you would love to have interview you for the podcast?
Do you have any thoughts on how to encourage people to put themselves out there/promote themselves like you do with the podcast?
She asks me to talk about my having a board/advisory committee that guides and helps me out with making these podcasts be the best they can be.
If Fred Rogers (of blessed memory) were to interview you for the podcast, how do you think that interview would have gone?
Can you talk more about the outdoor locations you've been to for the in person interviews?
We wrap the interview up with Lindsey sharing fun and exciting things about her.
This will be the final episode for the 2024 Season. We plan to resume the production on having new episodes produced and recorded for the 2025 Season after New Years' in January.
