How far can the Phillies go in the postseason? In the end, it's fantastic that they've made it this far. We'll be seeing playoff baseball from a Philadelphia Phillies team in well over a decade. It's been a long wait, but we're here! Joining us this week for a deep dive into the Phils is our good friend of the pod John Stolnis (@JohnSolnis) from TheGoodPhight.com and Hittin' Season podcast. It was a great, fun and in-depth discussion!
But first, we started on a serious note with a discussion about Brett Favre and the public corruption case in Mississippi. Why isn't he receiving the scrutiny other athletes have in the past? (approx. 6:15)
From there, we discussed this amazing Eagles season thus far, defensive injuries, and this team's perseverance. They gave their Eagles vs. Cardinals game predictions as well. (approx. 18:00)
The guys then dove into some early Sixers thoughts and what they're hoping to see this coming season. Is this team truly a title contender? (approx. 29:00)
From there, it was all Phillies talk and different themes to watch during the Wild Card Round of the postseason. (approx. 41:10)
What we threw down on the Table this week was a great discussion and interview with John Stolnis from The Good Phight and Hittin' Season podcast about the upcoming Phillies postseason and what we'll see from this team. How will the starting pitching look? Eflin and Syndergaard coming out of the bullpen? What kind of offense do the Phillies need to make it out of the Wild Card Round? All of this and much more on the Table! (approx. 48:25)
