🌞On this week's Podcast, we talk with Lauren Dreher. Lauren was born with a birthmark on her face. After her parents feared the birthmark could become unhealthy for Lauren, they chose to have the birthmark removed. This left Lauren with visible facial scars. Living with a facial scar can of course be challenging.Add on the pressure of growing up, being a girl and the natural challenges I think we can all commiserate with, and you are left with a person that struggled to not only find their place in life, but also just find a place period.
Lauren has so bravely faced her turmoils head on and challenges you to do the same! Lauren shares her experience of growing up with a facial scar, how that impacted her life, how she was able to face adversity and overcome her mind all while becoming a wife and mother herself. Lauren Dreher is an accomplished Speaker, Writer, Podcast Host and Mindset Speaker. My perspective was shifted during our chat and we could all use a little perspective shift around visible scars and deformities. Enjoy the Podcast!
