Good morning, Austin! This is your friendly neighborhood weather reporter coming in hot (or should I say, cold) with today's forecast.
Bundle up, folks! We've got a Cold Weather Advisory in effect, so let's break down what Mother Nature has in store for us.
Today, expect a sunny but chilly day with temperatures climbing to a brisk 48 degrees Fahrenheit. That north-northeast wind will be gentle, hovering around 5 miles per hour, so keep that jacket handy.
Tonight, we're looking at increasing clouds and temperatures dropping down to a frosty 31 degrees Fahrenheit. The north-northeast wind will continue its leisurely pace.
Wednesday brings cloudy skies and temperatures struggling to reach 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a north wind between 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Things get interesting Wednesday night with a 40 percent chance of showers after midnight. Temperatures will dip to around 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Thursday is our wet day, with a 90 percent chance of showers and temperatures barely hitting 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a northeast wind between 5 to 10 miles per hour.
As we roll into the weekend, we'll see some improvement. Saturday brings sunshine and a high near 55 degrees Fahrenheit, and Sunday looks mostly sunny with temperatures climbing to 58 degrees Fahrenheit.
