Pandemic Parenting & Perceptions (ft. Tom Weston)
Manage episode 295097209 series 2851250
This episode features a conversation with my guest, Tom Weston. Tom describes himself as a husband to an incredible wife, and dad to an awesome, wild little dude, with one more on the way in August.
In his own words:
"The last year has been tough, but amazing. Tough, because we haven’t met too many people or done too many things. Amazing, because we’ve spent everyday together, been there for all the milestones and developmental changes (big and small), built extremely close relationships and on a personal note, watched my wife be the most awesome mom in the world. The last year has also highlighted the importance of pursuing your passions. I’m super passionate about donuts and have just opened a donut shop, Range Donuts (IG: @rangedonuts). I love skiing, mountain biking and trail running. Being super active means I’m usually hungry, which is good, because I also love eating and baking. Check out Dad Is A Donut (IG: @dadisadonut) for what we’ve been eating recently."
Tom and I talk share our experiences being "pandemic" parents, as we both became first time parents May of last year. We also discuss the way dads are perceived in some public places.
