In this week's episode, Xander & Stone discuss the legend of The Mothman.
Also known as the Flying Man, or the Thunderbird, Mothman gained popularity in the mid-'60s after claims that it caused the poorly constructed Silver Bridge between West Virginia and Ohio to collapse and kill over 40 people.
Described as over 7 feet tall with a wingspan over 10 ft, a ripped set of abs and glowing red eyes (some reports say yellow or green eyes), Mothman has been sighted from West Virginia all the way up to Wisconsin and Chicago. There are even stories of this mysterious winged creature in Ukraine.
Is Mothman a benign creature sent to warn us of major catastrophic events? Maybe the Mothman is the malicious cause of the events? Are ghostly hitchhikers somehow connected to Mothman? What's the connection between Mothman and UFO?
We're also super excited to hear our very special guest caller - Shannon - who recounts her family's close-call with Mothman.
"Later there were people who said that the hitchhikers were either sent by the Mothman, or they were the Mothman himself trying to warn people what was going to happen..." ~ Shannon.
