Welcome to the Weather in Austin podcast! Today is Thursday, September 21, 2023.
Let's start with the good news: it's going to be a beautiful day in Austin today! The high will be 85 degrees Fahrenheit, with mostly sunny skies. There will be a light breeze from the south, but it won't be enough to knock over your lawn furniture.
So what should you do on this perfect day? Well, the possibilities are endless! You could go for a swim at Barton Springs Pool, take a walk around Lady Bird Lake, or visit the Texas State Capitol. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, you could take a day trip to San Antonio or Fredericksburg.
No matter what you decide to do, make sure to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air! And don't forget to wear sunscreen!
Now for the not-so-good news: it's going to be humid in Austin today. So if you're not used to the humidity, be sure to drink plenty of water and stay in the shade as much as possible.
But even if you're sweating buckets, there are still plenty of things you can do to enjoy this beautiful day. For example, you could go to the movies, visit a museum, or go shopping. Or, if you're feeling creative, you could stay home and write a song or paint a picture.
