Kapłaństwo to piękna sprawa. Codzienna Eucharystia, posługa w konfesjonale, spotkania z ludźmi... i głoszenie Słowa Bożego.

Homily from the Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Silence reveals our hearts and silence trains our hearts. But we need to consciously enter into these if we are going to know ourselves an…

True reconciliation, especially within our clos…

Two Parables Today in the Gospel Jesus gives us two parables, more like two comparisons or examples, very practical for our Christian lives. The first one is about the blind leading the blind. We all have the image of a line of blind people falling into a cliff, one after the other, oblivious of what is going to happen to them. It helps us to ask t…

Friends, for this Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Church gives us the opportunity, in our second reading from 1 Corinthians 15, to reflect on the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead. It was the Resurrection that Paul correctly took as the hinge, the central teaching, of Christianity. But what do we mean by “Resurrection”? How do we theologize a…

Has your understanding of justice changed over your life? Did you once see justice as others owing you everything, or doing what you want? This weekend in his homily, Bishop reminds us that justice is a gift that is to be given what is owed to another. For example, it is just and right for us to give God his due honor, glory and praise at the Mass …

Pastor Mielke explores the concept of resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15, emphasizing that "second is best" in Christianity. He explains how our earthly bodies will be transformed into glorious, incorruptible heavenly bodies, drawing parallels between the first Adam (earthly) and the second Adam, Jesus (heavenly). The sermon concludes with a powerful…

The Church teaches that we all have a universal call to holiness. We are all called to be like God. That means we are all called to love, to give ourselves in some way for the good of others. We are all called to carry our cross and follow Jesus. In fact Christ says we are to do this daily. That means every day we have a new opportunity to tell the…
