My mission is that, by me sharing, others will know they are not alone and that the lost can be found and there is always a way out no matter how dark it seems. Our time is filled with spiritual confusion caused by the enmeshment of Christian faith wrapped in cultural trappings. While this is certainly heightened in our day, this issue is not new. In fact, the early church wrestled with many of the same questions: how does my faith intersect with my politics, my ethnicity, my cultural preferences? This wee…

We need to be reminded who we are in Christ and what He has done for us. The triumphant work of Jesus has produced a finished work in us — not something we have done but because of what He has done and who He is. We live from salvation not for salvation. Until Easter Sunday, April 9, we will examine this great news in a sermon series called You Wer…
