An ambitious series which blends politics and adventure, Tumanbay is a story of upheaval, revolution and romance set in a corrupt fictional city. This epic saga is inspired by the Mamluk slave-dynasty of Egypt, Gregor (Rufus Wright) - Master of the Palace Guard - is charged by Sultan Al-Ghuri (Raad Rawi) with the task of rooting out an insurgence and crushing it. Series 1 (2016) is 10 episodes, Series 2 (2017) is 8 episodes, Series 3 (2019) is 8 episodes.
