The Resistible Rise of J. R. Brinkley is a four part audio drama podcast, set in the 1920's and 30's, about a quack doctor/politician who first became famous for his cure for impotence: implanting goat testicles into human testicles. It uses comedy and country music to illustrate Brinkley's life as he moved from being a small town doctor to a millionaire to a candidate for governor of Kansas to a conservative talk radio star with an ear for country music.
