Hello! After a short break from the daily podcast, i come back and share why I took the time off, what to expect from Project Recalibration, and some of the best content I came across during my time away. I share what I learned from a monk, what I learned from a leading business man, and what I learned from martial artists that helped me make this episode to you. After asking God for guidance, I feel confident about the decisions made and am excited moving forward. Thank you for tuning in to episode 27. I hope that you enjoy yourselves a blessed day. Below, I have attached the links to videos and podcasts referenced in this episode. Hello! Today, I talk about how I started my morning off wrong by not completing the morning routine. By not completing it, I effectively broke the promise I made to myself. Old Me would have said, well, that’s that. I will make sure not to do it tomorrow and Id move on with my day and likely would not have finished the night routine. But old Me wasn’t producing the results I want, so he had to get replaced. And if I replace my old self with a new version that does the same exact thing, I won’t go nowhere. I also share some of the folks I look up to and some of the struggles they faced. Thank you for tuning in today. I hope that you enjoy today’s show, and that you welcomed blessings into your life today.…
Hello! Today I talk about the power of choice, how I’ve let my power get weak, and what I’ve been doing to make it strong again. My wife and I were listening to an audiobook early in the morning, and today it happened to touch upon choices. Because of what we have going on in our lives right now and what Darren Hardy shared in The Compound Effect, I wanted to remind myself and others of the super power we all have available to use. Will you choose to use your power? I hope so, and I also wish for you to have a blessed day. Thank you for tuning in and take care!…
Hello! In today’s episode I talk about one of my most enjoyable bad habits. Instant gratification. It’s a bad habit to build because when results take longer to generate, it begins to feel discouraging. Instant gratification is great short term, but it does very little to benefit me long term. I discuss some of the habits I’ve kicked and also a very extreme way I have decided to do the opposite of instantly feeling great. Thank you very much for tuning in today, and I hope you have yourselves a blessed day!…
Hello! In today’s episode I talk about one of my favorite beverages. Coffee! I’m the type of person who likes to add coffee to his creamer, based on how much I would use. Recently, I began substituting the creamer with almond milk and I had to share what I’ve experienced since making this change. If you’re a huge coffee lover like I am, this should be a interesting episode to listen to. Thank you for tuning in today, and I hope that you have yourself a very blessed day!…
Hello! Today I share why I decided to develop a morning and night routine. My wife has been following hers for several weeks now and I’m definitely seeing her progress coming along well! Today we were watching an interview with Ed Mylett where he mentioned this exact concept and how it helped him propel his business when he really wasn’t in a good spot. I share with you where I am coming from, some of the actions I will be including in my routine and what I hope to accomplish. I appreciate you tuning in today and I hope that you get to have yourself a blessed day!…
Hello! Today I talk about the crippling feeling of believing that I am not enough. It’s a problem many people face for a number of reasons. I share why I feel like I’m not enough in certain aspects of my business as a Comercial Insurance Advisor. I also go into what mental shifts had to occur in order to reposition my perspective so that I can see myself in a different light. I hope that this helps someone who may be feeling a similar way whether it’s in business or personal life. I appreciate you tuning in to the podcast to listen and I wish for you have a blessed day!…
Hello! In today’s podcast I talk about a new habit my wife and I are trying to form. Using a planner to plan the day. We have noticed that by not planning out our day, it’s easier to get of course and lose focus of what needs to get done. We will be using some of what we have learned to make it as effective as possible and a huge inspiration comes from Andy Frisella’s concept of the power list. I was supposed to be able to attach a link to the podcast where he discusses this in more depth, but that’s not working. Instead, try looking this up on Spotify and it will pop up. “Win The Day, with Andy Frisella - MFCEO107” . Thank you for tuning in and I hope you have a blessed day!…
Hello! Today I share the part of marriage that isn’t always sunshine. Arguments and fighting. Today, my wife and I had an altercation and that triggered today’s show. I share what led up to our disagreement, how we handled it, and how it compares to what our marriage used to be. Protecting my marriage is a priority and moments like this are when I get to grow as a husband. I hope that you enjoy today’s episode and if you feel like giving some feedback or sharing this with someone who may enjoy it, I will be infinitely grateful :) thank you for tuning in and I hope you have a blessed day!…
Hello! In today’s episode I share with you some of my failures and why I believe they serve me more than hurt me. Part of my day today included being choked out by a brown belt in my BJJ class today and me failing to do the same to him even though there was no resistance. That made me reflect on what failure truly is and how I can overcome it. I hope that you enjoy today’s podcast. If you feel motivated to leave a comment on apple podcasts with your honest feedback or if you’d like to share it with a friend who might enjoy it, I’d greatly appreciate it. Hello! In today’s episode, I share why I shifted my focus from chasing money to pursuing relationships instead. For most of my adult life, everything I did for work was to make more money. I sacrificed what was most important to me to acquire what I thought was most important to me. In reality, I value money. Money is a very important tool and I intend to have millions of dollars, but I’m not driven by a net worth. I am driven by a network. Thank you for tuning in today. I hope that you can gain value from this episode. If you would like to leave some honest feedback on apple podcasts with a review, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you, and I hope you all have a blessed day!…
Hello! In today’s episode I share how I have used gratitude to completely reshape my perspective in life. It has not only helped me in the past, but currently it is a key player in Project Recalibration. Gratitude can easily be overlooked when something isn’t going our way. I share a few real life experiences I have had relating to being grateful even when I felt there was no reason to be. I hope that you gain some value from this episode, as I have gained immense value in my life because of this concept. Thank you for tuning in, and may you have a blessed day!…
Hello! Today’s episode is focused on finding comfort in the uncomfortable. For about a year I allowed myself to become comfortable in the benefits my wife and I had began to enjoy. As we have come to realize, comfort can be very dangerous for people who have goals. In today’s episode, I share what I have been doing that makes me uncomfortable and the reasons behind it that are fueling some major growth during project recalibration. I hope that you find value in today’s episode. Thank you for tuning in today, and I hope that you all have a blessed day!…
Hello! In this episode I share the three things I’ve been working on the most, to become a better son. The very first responsibility I had coming into this world was to be a son. However, as we age it becomes more and more acceptable to be distant from our parents. I noticed myself heading in that direction, and I wanted to do something about it. By implementing these practices, I have become a better son and have built a stronger and more loving relationship with my parents. In the end, that also translates to learning more about being a parent as I enter that chapter of my life. I hope that you enjoy today’s episode and gain some value from it. Take care and have a blessed day!…
Hello! And today’s episode I talk about three quotes that have recently been impacting me in big ways. Quotes come from individuals like Ed Mylett, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Russ. These philosophies play a major role in daily decision making. Having the wisdom of others available in different scenarios can be the difference between a good decision, a bad decision, and no decision. What are some of your favorite quotes that impact you? Thank you for tuning in today! My name is Cris Zepeda and I hope you have a blessed day!…
