Through conversation centered on Jesus and an exploration of Scripture–War Vessel Radio wants to stand as a voice of truth motivating Christians towards living powerful lives poured-out for the glory of Christ. Join Jacob Williams as he desires to grow in the life, truth, and love of Jesus, stand rooted and grounded in God’s Word, bring Christ to a dark and dying world, and declare with zeal that Jesus is Lord and by His blood we are saved.

This week's episode is a recording of a message Jacob gave at his church a couple of Sunday's ago on Genesis 7. Genesis 7 is the account of the Flood and through that account there are amazing testimonies that point towards Christ's sacrifice and grace upon those who call upon His name and a look to the future judgement that is coming upon the world. Through this account we see Noah being an example to this generation as to how we are to be ready and watching for the day of Christ and proclaiming the gospel all the while! Key Scripture Genesis 7. If you have any questions or comments please email Jacob at warvesselradio@gmail.com. He would love to hear from you! Thank you for listening!…
This week join Jacob as he talks about how a few chiropractic appointments to diagnose some spinal posturing issues have inspired looking to Jesus to become spiritually conformed and aligned with His image. We were created to be aligned with our heavenly Creator but sin bends us towards earthliness which puts our spiritual lives out of sync and out of alignment with our source of life, Jesus. This is a great episode to listen to if you need some encouragement and affirmation to press into how Jesus may want to gently step in and align your life to Himself. Key Scripture: Philippians 3:17-4:1 If you have any comments, thoughts or questions please reach out to Jacob through email at warvesselradio@gmail.com. Thank you for listening!…
This week join Jacob as he heads into Job 2 and talks about Job's testing 2.0. In chapter 2 we read about Job's continuing persecution from the "accuser" and Job's integrity to maintain his faith in God through immense suffering and pressure to curse the goodness of God. Through this state of brokenness in Job's life we see how God is profoundly able to bring glory to Himself through weak things putting to shame the things that are strong. It is an encouragement to think about how God used Job for His glory and how we should be prepared in our soul when we are given the gift to glorify God in our times of brokenness and weakness. Key Verses: Job 2, Psalm 12 & 13. If you have any questions, comments or thoughts please email Jacob at warvesselradio@gmail.com. Thank you for listening!…
This week join Jacob as he digs into the ending of chapter 1 in Job again and analyzes the reaction of Job to the tragedy that has taken place in his life. Imagine the privilege of being the man God holds in highest regard as well as Satan's sole focal point to prove his Maker wrong. Key Verse: Job 1:20-22 Have questions, comments, or thoughts? Please email Jacob at warvesselradio@gmail.com with any thoughts! Thank you for listening!…
In the book of Job the Lord says to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?" (Job 1:8). Join Jacob this week as he "considers" the life and character of Job in an introduction to a study on the book of Job. The truth that the book of Job contains about Jesus is phenomenal and there is so much mystery and intrigue in the book that is sure to make for an exciting and enriching study! There are some incredible parallels in Job to the Christian life and the life of Christ in this most likely overlooked and under-read book of the Bible that are sure to bring greater depth and understanding to knowing our God intimately! Key Verse: Job 1:1 If you have any thoughts, questions, or comments please contact Jacob via email at: warvesselradio@gmail.com Thank you for listening!…
In this episode Jacob delves into a topic that is, has, and will continue to capture his attention. This topic is suffering with the same perspective of suffering as Christ. In every place Jesus has paved the way for Christians to have His power over sin in their lives. In 1 Peter 4 a couple very interesting and exciting concepts stood out to Jacob that has helped create a new mindset around suffering. Join in on this episode to hear about the incredible Jesus we serve and how having His mind on suffering is one of the most potent weapons of our spiritual warfare equipment! Key Verse: 1 Peter 4:1-3 Thank you for listening!…
This week join Jacob as he dives into the Christian mindset of entering "boldly" before the throne of grace! Prayer is our number one weapon in living the Christian life out on the battlefield. If the enemy can disorganize or discourage our lifeline of prayer (communication) to our High Priest it is much easier for him to wreak havoc in our spiritual lives. But have cheer and courage for this is the attitude we are to have when entering into prayer with Jesus! As Christians the writer of Hebrews tells us that there is a unique and powerful mindset we are to have when entering...BOLDNESS! Jacob discusses some of his thoughts and excitement of the truth found in Hebrews 4:16 that we have complete and total access to the Throne of God 24/7 and He wants to hear us speak to Him with "cheerful courage." Key Verse: Hebrews 4:16 Thank you for listening!…
The much awaited and long delayed episode 52 kicks off a new season for WVR! Join the restart with Jacob this week as he wades through the last 7 months since the last episode and all the life that has transpired. There have been several monumental life-changes in Jacob's life over the last several months which have challenged his spiritual walk and heat-treated his faith. Through it all Jesus has both tremendously blessed, convicted and challenged, rebuked and restored Jacob. In this episode, hear some of Jacob's heart on what the Lord has been leading Him through in the last 7 months and how he has had to grow spiritually to adapt to the new life he has been commissioned in by Jesus. Jacob dives into Psalm 32 to find an example of how God has been working in his life and how the theme applies to the Christian life. In all things God is faithful and Jesus has proven Himself to be the master-architect of impossible things! Key Scripture: Psalm 32 Special thank-you to all the listeners and supporters of WVR who have been faithful to keep listening, encouraging, and waiting for War Vessel to be put in motion again! To Jesus be the Glory! Thanks for listening!…
Join Jacob this week as he breaks the silence with an update on life and also an encouragement from how Jesus has been revealing Himself personally to Jacob through his season of immense change! Jacob and Laura ( Jacob's bride-to-be) are getting married this Saturday, December 17th and they have both been able to experience something close to the unique pattern God has set biblically for preparing for marriage as a bride and groom. Jesus has gone and is preparing a place for us, His bride the Church, and as He has wonderfully said, "is coming soon" to bring us to Himself! May we be looking expectantly to His return as He longs to be fully united with us in Heaven! Thank you all for your continued listening, faithfulness, and support of WVR and Jacob in this time of the Lord Jesus "doing a new thing" in the podcast and Jacob's life! May you all be fully blessed in the working of Jesus Christ and be experiencing His fullness and delight in you! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! Key Scripture: John 14:1-6 Thank you for listening! If you like to comment, give thoughts, or have a word of affirmation or encouragement please email Jacob at: warvesselradio@gmail.com!…
This week join Jacob for a slightly shorter episode as he builds off of last week's topic on the Fruit of the Spirit and discusses the profound simplicity of Jesus Christ being the answer to our every need! The Sunday school answer of Jesus being the right answer for every question isn't entirely far off. As Christians our every breath should be to proclaim the glory and praise of Jesus and our life problems should be platforms for us to shout the answer of Jesus. How often is Jesus our first answer as we encounter various scenarios in life? Key Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23 Thank you for listening in! If you have any questions, comments, or thoughts please email Jacob at: warvesselradio@gmail.com!…
This week join Jacob as he discusses the "fruit" of the Spirit and the need to be bearing the fruit of the Spirit at all times! What do we spiritually "bleed" or ooze when we are put under the pressures of life and spiritual warfare? Does our spirit when compressed reveal the fruit of Jesus Christ coming forth or does it leak out the waste of sinfulness? Jacob discusses his need in particularly for the peace of Jesus and the desire to bleed God's peace rather than bleed worry, anxiety, fear, and doubt in times of uncertainty or trial. As Christians our lives should resemble Jesus on the cross bleeding out the fruit of the Spirit for all men to receive and for the Father's glory. Key Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23 Thank you for listening to War Vessel Radio! If you have any questions, comments, or thoughts please email Jacob at: warvesselradio@gmail.com!…
This week join Jacob as he utilizes his passion for hunting as unique illustration for Philippians 4:4-7 and just how easy it is to lose the rejoicing in a blessing when our focus turns self-ward instead of remaining on Jesus. Hunting is an activity that creates intense excitements that can quickly be followed by frustrating disappointments. For Jacob sometimes hunting can go from a great blessing one moment to a anxious and frustrating experience in the next moment that can lead to a battle for abiding in a Christ-like attitude. A Christian's life is often times similar to a hunter's emotional rollercoaster. How can we remain Christ centered and full of peace and thanksgiving in any circumstance? Philippians 4:4-7 has the solution! Key Scripture: Philippians 4:4-7 Have any questions, comments, or thoughts? Jacob would love to hear your constructive feedback or ideas for War Vessel Radio and how to improve to better serve you and Jesus! Email him at warvesselradio@gmail.com! Thank you for listening!…

Join Jacob this week as he is full of joy in his recent engagement to a beautiful young lady and also for an exciting discussion on Jesus' 1st miracle! The wedding in Cana of Galilee has a few notable characters in it but it also contains some characters that aren't noticed quite as much and those characters are the servants. The servants however are the ones who got to partake the most in the first divine and miraculous work of Jesus's life! How are we as Christians supposed to be like the servants in this story and how does it influence the way we look at the various circumstances in our lives? Key Scripture: John 2:1-9 Hope you enjoyed listening! If you have any thoughts, questions, or comments please feel free to email Jacob at: warvesselradio@gmail.com. Thank you for taking the time to listen today!…
