“I used to be the largest dairy consumer on the planet. I used to eat so much dairy and meat. The more that I looked into the dairy industry, the more that I saw that it was the singular, most inhumane industry on the planet, that we've all been lied to, including myself, for years. I always believed that the picture on the milk carton, the cow standing next to her calf in the green field with the red barn in the back was true. It’s certainly the complete opposite.” – Richard (Kudo) Couto Richard (Kudo) Couto is the founder of Animal Recovery Mission (ARM), an organization solely dedicated to investigating extreme animal cruelty cases. ARM has led high-risk undercover operations that have resulted in the shutdown of illegal slaughterhouses, animal fighting rings, and horse meat trafficking networks. Recently, they released a damning investigation into two industrial dairy farms outside of Phoenix, Arizona supplying milk to Coca-Cola’s Fairlife brand. What they uncovered was systemic animal abuse, environmental violations, and a devastating betrayal of consumer trust. While Fairlife markets its products as being sourced "humanely," ARM’s footage tells a very different story—one of suffering, abuse, and corporate complicity. Despite the evidence, this story has been largely ignored by mainstream media—likely due to Coca-Cola’s massive influence and advertising dollars.…

Comix Paradox Podcast Presents JLA: The Nail JLA: The Nail is a three-issue comic book miniseries published by DC Comics. Written and illustrated by Alan Davis, the story exists outside the main DC Universe continuity as an Elseworlds tale. Later, Crisis on Infinite Earths: The Compendium designated it as Earth-898, incorporating it into Hypertime. The premise hinges on a small but pivotal twist: the Kents’ truck suffers a flat tire caused by a nail, preventing them from discovering baby Kal-El’s spaceship. As a result, Superman never becomes part of the DC Universe, altering the fate of the Justice League and the world. The story’s theme is set by the opening lines of the proverbial rhyme “For Want of a Nail.” A sequel, Justice League: Another Nail, continues the narrative, resolving lingering threads such as the war between New Genesis, Apokolips, and the Green Lantern Corps, as well as Oliver Queen’s public betrayal of the Justice League. ————————————————— This episode is sponsored by Deadly Grounds Coffee "Its good to get a little Deadly" https://deadlygroundscoffee.com "Powerful Brandon" Powers: [ https://linktr.ee/brandonhaspowers ] Justin Cooper https://anchor.fm/geeklifehq/support https://www.instagram.com/geeklifehq/ https://geeklifehq.wixsite.com/podcast https://www.facebook.com/geeklifehq https://twitter.com/geeklifehq The Dorkening Podcast Network https://TheDorkening.com Facebook.com/TheDorkening Youtube.com/TheDorkening Twitter.com/TheDorkening Instagram.com/TheDorkening…

Comix Paradox Podcast Presents Superman & Batman Generations - 1979 to 1989 1979: Twilight of the Gods — Batman and Supergirl (or Superwoman as her father thinks of her) have become a heroic team and, as Bruce Wayne Jr. and Kara Kent, plan to marry. Lois is still alive, thanks to her physician Dr. Holurt. Bruce and Kara's wedding is disrupted by a super-powered Joel Kent (Joel faked his death in Vietnam after Luthor convinced him that Superman deliberately exposed him to gold kryptonite so Joel could not replace him). Joel attacks and violently kills Kara. Dr. Holurt reveals himself to be a disguised Lex Luthor; he shows the world that Clark Kent is Superman, then kills Lois. Joel's powers are the result of a serum created by Luthor but, as Luthor knows, the serum is unstable and Joel dies a few minutes after killing his sister, living just long enough for Luthor to mockingly inform him that he lied to Joel, while his father was always honest with him. Superman learns that Joel had fathered a son with a young Vietnamese woman, and asks B.J. to raise the boy as his own while he searches for Luthor. Meanwhile, a 70-year-old Bruce Wayne, on the trail of Ra's al Ghul, is captured by agents of the criminal mastermind. 1989: Crime and Punishment — Bruce Wayne Jr., the third Batman, flies to the Fortress of Solitude to arrest Superman for murder. Superman had been hunting Luthor for the past 10 years and finally caught up with him (but not before Luthor engineered the deaths of Jimmy Olsen, Perry White Jr., and Lucy Lane). Luthor exposed Superman to gold kryptonite and revealed that he is really the Ultra-Humanite. In 1939 he transplanted his brain into the body of his assistant Lex Luthor (then known as "Ell") after his rocket crashed while fleeing the 1939 World's Fair, his body and Luthor's brain were too badly damaged to survive unless the switch occurred. The Ultra-Humanite planned to move his brain into Superman's body, but Superman accidentally killed the Ultra-Humanite while trying to escape after throwing a metal shard at him, causing him to be electrocuted by his equipment. As that happened, the villain's machines broadcast over worldwide television the video of Superman apparently murdering "Luthor" to frame him. In the present, Superman lets Bruce Jr. take him into custody so that he can plead guilty to murder before the World Court. Even though the judges point out that he acted in self-defense, Superman is not sure whether or not he might have been influenced by his hatred of Luthor. Superman requests that he be sent into the Phantom Zone. The judges agree to a sentence of 10 years in the Zone. ————————————————— This episode is sponsored by Deadly Grounds Coffee "Its good to get a little Deadly" https://deadlygroundscoffee.com "Powerful Brandon" Powers: [ https://linktr.ee/brandonhaspowers ] Justin Cooper https://anchor.fm/geeklifehq/support https://www.instagram.com/geeklifehq/ https://geeklifehq.wixsite.com/podcast https://www.facebook.com/geeklifehq https://twitter.com/geeklifehq The Dorkening Podcast Network https://TheDorkening.com Facebook.com/TheDorkening Youtube.com/TheDorkening Twitter.com/TheDorkening Instagram.com/TheDorkening Send us your feedback online: https://pinecast.com/feedback/comix-paradox/32f43a76-0446-4349-a9eb-b9ba56877d06…

Electrox has been taken over by the Ultra-Humanite, a frail old man in a wheelchair who is nevertheless a ruthless criminal mastermind. Just before Julie is crushed, Superman arrives and stops the primitive robot. Later that night Wayne, in his guise as The Bat-Man, searches for clues at the Fair and encounters Daily Star reporters Lois Lane and Clark Kent (the civilian disguise of Superman). A piece of metal alloy discovered by Lane leads to an altercation that night and a convergence the next day of Lane, the civilian Wayne, and the Ultra-Humanite's henchmen. Lane is kidnapped, but Wayne is saved by the intervention of a young circus acrobat named Dick Grayson. The Bat-Man later locates one of the henchmen and coerces the location of Ultra-Humanite's hideout from him, with some unexpected help from Superman. ————————————————— This episode is sponsored by Deadly Grounds Coffee "Its good to get a little Deadly" https://deadlygroundscoffee.com "Powerful Brandon" Powers: [ https://linktr.ee/brandonhaspowers ] Justin Cooper https://anchor.fm/geeklifehq/support https://www.instagram.com/geeklifehq/ https://geeklifehq.wixsite.com/podcast https://www.facebook.com/geeklifehq https://twitter.com/geeklifehq The Dorkening Podcast Network https://TheDorkening.com Facebook.com/TheDorkening Youtube.com/TheDorkening Twitter.com/TheDorkening Instagram.com/TheDorkening Send us your feedback online: https://pinecast.com/feedback/comix-paradox/60bf8b72-799b-48b3-a565-ce729a433632…

Comix Paradox Podcast Presents What If? Wolverine became and Agent of Sheild? After his first battle with the Hulk and Wendigo, Wolverine is 'loaned' to SHIELD for a single mission. It seems that Hydra has stolen SHIELD's LMD tech, and used them to infiltrate SHIELD command. Fury needs Wolverine to track down the robots and destroy them. Immediately unleashed, Logan goes berserk on Dum Dum Dugan, who turns out to be a LMD himself. Enraged that Hydra has gotten in so deep, Fury sends Wolverine and Black Widow to remove all the other LMDs in the carrier. They come back in about 45 minutes, having destroyed half of the operating crew on board. Upset at the capture of Dum Dum, Fury makes it their next priority to raid Hydra's base and rescue him. The three of them, along with a handful of SHIELD agents, breach Hydra's base, and find Dum Dum half dead at the hands of Madame Hydra and Baron von Strucker (who is in possession his Satan Claw). Wolverine cuts off the Claw, and has Strucker on the ropes, when Fury steps in to finish it himself. At the same time, Widow takes out Madame Hydra. Fury commends Wolverine on a job well done, and offers to hire him onto SHIELD. Logan's ready for a change, (as he would have been joining the X-Men about this time), and moves quickly through the ranks to Fury's new #2. Happy with his new position, he turns down Professor X and Nightcrawler when they offer to bring him onto the X-Men. An angry Strucker LMD avenges Strucker's death by crashing Fury's Flying Ferrari into the river with Fury in it. (Killing him). At the funeral, Dum Dum retires, and Logan becomes Director of SHIELD. As Director, Logan uses his position to greatly change his world, shutting down the production of Dr. Stephen Lang's Sentinels, preventing the Dark Phoenix's emergence, as well as discrediting Senator Robert Kelly, defeating the Mutant Registration Act, and teaching the world, humans and mutants alike, to live and let live. ————————————————— This episode is sponsored by Deadly Grounds Coffee "Its good to get a little Deadly" https://deadlygroundscoffee.com "Powerful Brandon" Powers: [ https://linktr.ee/brandonhaspowers ] Justin Cooper https://anchor.fm/geeklifehq/support https://www.instagram.com/geeklifehq/ https://geeklifehq.wixsite.com/podcast https://www.facebook.com/geeklifehq https://twitter.com/geeklifehq The Dorkening Podcast Network https://TheDorkening.com Facebook.com/TheDorkening Youtube.com/TheDorkening Twitter.com/TheDorkening Instagram.com/TheDorkening Send us your feedback online: https://pinecast.com/feedback/comix-paradox/9fb724a9-59f1-4f2c-9783-bff009a2b381…
Comix Paradox Podcast Presents The Adventures of Superboy In this intriguing podcast episode, we delve into the captivating world of "Superboy," a beloved American television series that underwent its own share of behind-the-scenes drama. Running from 1988 to 1992, this show, initially titled "Superboy" and later renamed "The Adventures of Superboy," was brought to life by the talented Salkind duo, Ilya and Alexander. Airing for a thrilling four seasons in syndication, it became a memorable part of pop culture. Our narrative unfolds with John Haymes Newton stepping into the iconic shoes of Superboy in the series, alongside Stacy Haiduk, who portrayed Lana Lang. However, a noteworthy twist occurred in Season two, as actor Gerard Christopher took over the mantle of Superboy, carrying the character forward for the remainder of the show. While the pilot episode offered a glimpse into life in Smallville, the heart of the series resided at the fictitious Shuster College in Florida. This dynamic backdrop allowed for the inclusion of various beloved comic book personas, including the formidable Lex Luthor, the loyal Pete Ross, the metallic menace Metallo, and the enigmatic Bizarro. The show also introduced new characters such as T.J. White, the son of Daily Planet editor Perry White, adding depth to the Superboy universe. Behind the scenes, a legal showdown unfolded, as Warner Bros., the parent company of DC Comics, sought to maintain control over licensing for all Superman-related properties. This legal battle included "Superboy," despite it being a Salkind production under the Time Warner umbrella. Intriguingly, the show's distribution in the United States was handled by Viacom, which later merged with Paramount in 1994. Due to the complexity of the legal entanglements and the protracted disputes between the Salkinds and Time Warner, "Superboy" has remained absent from American television screens since its initial syndicated run. An interesting wrinkle in this tale is that, unlike other Salkind productions related to Superman, Time Warner shares ownership of the "Superboy" footage with Viacom/Paramount and the Salkind family. Join us in this episode as we unravel the fascinating story behind the "Superboy" series and explore the intricate web of legal challenges that have kept this iconic show out of the spotlight in recent years. ————————————————— This episode is sponsored by Deadly Grounds Coffee "Its good to get a little Deadly" https://deadlygroundscoffee.com "Powerful Brandon" Powers: [ https://linktr.ee/brandonhaspowers ] Justin Cooper https://anchor.fm/geeklifehq/support https://www.instagram.com/geeklifehq/ https://geeklifehq.wixsite.com/podcast https://www.facebook.com/geeklifehq https://twitter.com/geeklifehq The Dorkening Podcast Network https://TheDorkening.com Facebook.com/TheDorkening Youtube.com/TheDorkening Twitter.com/TheDorkening Instagram.com/TheDorkening Send us your feedback online: https://pinecast.com/feedback/comix-paradox/7e8b802e-b2ee-4ed0-8bbf-fa867d745f70…
Comix Paradox Podcast Presents Superior written by Mark Millar and illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu Simon Pooni, an angry, bitter 12-year-old boy with multiple sclerosis, idolizes superheroes, particularly Superior, a Superman analogue. An alien monkey named Ormon appears at Simon's bedside, informing the boy that of all the people on Earth, he has been granted the honor of being bestowed a single magic wish. Simon is then transformed into Superior. After playing the role of Superior for a week, he learns that Ormon is actually a demon incarnate, and he must sell his soul to the devil in order to remain as Superior. He is given 24 hours to decide, and is returned to his old body. The demon approaches an old bully of Simon, and offers him a similar wish, to become Superior's fictional nemesis, Abraxas; the only caveat is that he must pledge himself to Satan. Simon must then choose whether to become Superior again and save the planet from imminent destruction at the cost of his own soul. To force Simon to choose, Abraxas begins destroying the city. Simon transforms into Superior and fights both Abraxas and Ormon. Although Superior defeats them in battle, Ormon gloats that he still has Simon's soul, until he realizes that Simon (as Superior) is immortal, and that his soul can never be collected. Ormon is dragged back to Hell as punishment for his failure, and Simon reverts to his mortal form. The world honors Superior as a fallen hero, thinking him killed in battle, and Simon returns to his former life, but now at peace with himself. ————————————————— This episode is sponsored by Deadly Grounds Coffee "Its good to get a little Deadly" https://deadlygroundscoffee.com "Powerful Brandon" Powers: [ https://linktr.ee/brandonhaspowers ] Justin Cooper https://anchor.fm/geeklifehq/support https://www.instagram.com/geeklifehq/ https://geeklifehq.wixsite.com/podcast https://www.facebook.com/geeklifehq https://twitter.com/geeklifehq The Dorkening Podcast Network https://TheDorkening.com Facebook.com/TheDorkening Youtube.com/TheDorkening Twitter.com/TheDorkening Instagram.com/TheDorkening Send us your feedback online: https://pinecast.com/feedback/comix-paradox/08a0ec28-cd48-4dde-8073-91cbe327923b…

"Legacy" is an Elseworlds story featuring an adaptation of Superman, written and illustrated by creator John Byrne. In this story the kryptonian Kal-El is not sent in a rocket to Earth by his parents when their planet explodes, but one of his ancestors from the House of El arrives as a fully grown man two hundred years earlier during the American War of Independence and takes the side of the British Empire. Given supreme power, he eventually dominates the entire planet to his will and constructs a totalitarian regime depriving his subjects of both freedom and liberty. Many years later his descendant Kal, almost entirely human through generations of inter-species breeding, fights back against him in a rebellion. Comix Paradox Presents What if... Cable had destroyed the X-Men? Professor X comes back to Earth after a hiatus. He is mortified over what his teams have become. At a meeting involving all the X-teams, Xavier ends up getting into a fight with Cable that quickly turns into a battle between Cable and his friends against everyone else. Cable and his friends soon escape. Later on, Cable assassinates Xavier, Jean and Scott while they're having dinner by launching a siren bomb at their table. This action splits the X-teams into two camps- those who want to kill Cable (headed by Wolverine) and those who want to bring him to justice (headed by Storm). The split has ripple effects because the X-teams are too busy fighting each other to fight outside threats. Teams like the Avengers and the Fantastic Four are shown fighting traditional X-Men enemy teams to pick up the slack. The infighting amongst the X-teams results in more deaths and climaxes when Cable and his team is killed by Wolverine's team. After Cable's death, the surviving members of Wolverine's team disbands with Psylocke joining Storm's team. Magneto soon appears and attempts to recruit the former X-Men into joining his group. ————————————————— This episode is sponsored by Deadly Grounds Coffee "Its good to get a little Deadly" https://deadlygroundscoffee.com Brandon POWERS COMBINED! : https://www.facebook.com/groups/POWERSCOMBINED IG: @ThisBrandonHasPowers Twitter: @BrandonsPowers Justin Cooper https://anchor.fm/geeklifehq/support https://www.instagram.com/geeklifehq/ https://geeklifehq.wixsite.com/podcast https://www.facebook.com/geeklifehq https://twitter.com/geeklifehq The Dorkening Podcast Network https://TheDorkening.com Facebook.com/TheDorkening Youtube.com/TheDorkening Twitter.com/TheDorkening Instagram.com/TheDorkening Send us your feedback online: https://pinecast.com/feedback/comix-paradox/edf70c1d-fff7-4269-8b5a-23e717855525…
