Comix Paradox Podcast Presents JLA: The Nail JLA: The Nail is a three-issue comic book miniseries published by DC Comics. Written and illustrated by Alan Davis, the story exists outside the main DC Universe continuity as an Elseworlds tale. Later, Crisis on Infinite Earths: The Compendium designated it as Earth-898, incorporating it into Hypertime. The premise hinges on a small but pivotal twist: the Kents’ truck suffers a flat tire caused by a nail, preventing them from discovering baby Kal-El’s spaceship. As a result, Superman never becomes part of the DC Universe, altering the fate of the Justice League and the world. The story’s theme is set by the opening lines of the proverbial rhyme “For Want of a Nail.” A sequel, Justice League: Another Nail, continues the narrative, resolving lingering threads such as the war between New Genesis, Apokolips, and the Green Lantern Corps, as well as Oliver Queen’s public betrayal of the Justice League. ————————————————— This episode is sponsored by Deadly Grounds Coffee "Its good to get a little Deadly" https://deadlygroundscoffee.com "Powerful Brandon" Powers: [ https://linktr.ee/brandonhaspowers ] Justin Cooper https://anchor.fm/geeklifehq/support https://www.instagram.com/geeklifehq/ https://geeklifehq.wixsite.com/podcast https://www.facebook.com/geeklifehq https://twitter.com/geeklifehq The Dorkening Podcast Network https://TheDorkening.com Facebook.com/TheDorkening Youtube.com/TheDorkening Twitter.com/TheDorkening Instagram.com/TheDorkening…
