Author Peter Schinkel has loved writing since primary school. Mainly short stories and poetry, and science fiction such as Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. His writing dream blossomed in mid-2022 when he hired an editor and dived into writing almost every day. Twisted Planet Book One, his first anthology of science fiction short stories came out in September 2023. Twisted Planet Book Two is due for release in November 2024. Peter’s stories are less about aliens, war and dystopian futures, and more about exploring the human condition, looking at themes like love, fear, mortality, hope and fun.
