Welcome to the dance, the show, the CFP, Nittany Lions fans. As the Blue and White made their first appearance into the college football playoff, Penn State showed they are one of the top teams in the country. So too did the fans as they provided the largest, albeit freezing crowd, for a CFP game. After a slow start, the defense put Penn State on the board not once but twice. With the SMU offense on ice, Penn State jumped out to a 28-0 lead and cruised to victory. Was the performance by Kobe King, Tony Rojas, Dom De Luca, and Abdul Carter the most impactful for a group of linebackers since the '87 Fiesta Bowl? The guys debate that argument. It's been a long wait but playoff time has finally arrived for Penn State Nation. The Nittany Lions are set to host possibly the coldest game ever at Beaver Stadium when SMU gallops into the town. The Mustangs bring a wealth of athleticism to the table and will be looking to pull off the upset to advance to the Fiesta Bowl.
