This is your last warning.” Hamas has blown off Mr. Trump’s ultimatum. So, it’s time to destroy the jihadists, something the President says he’s giving Israel the means to accomplish. Last night, Donald Trump laid out an extraordinary blueprint for renewing the USA. Unlike most such addresses to Congress that are long on promises, few of which are ever fulfilled, this president has already acted in myriad ways on what he calls “the liberation of America.” Notably, Mr. Trump immediately closed our borders. As he quipped, it didn’t take new laws; it just took a new president. Ditto, among many other examples, his protecting our sovereignty by withdrawing from the World Health Organization and excising cultural Marxist subversion by ridding “Wokism” from federal civilian agencies and the military. To be sure, some Trump initiatives for Making America Great Again are still in the offing, or awaiting congressional action. President Trump will address Congress tonight on the theme of restoring America. It is hard to overstate the importance – and the comprehensiveness – of his efforts so far to do just that. Our chief executive has striven to reestablish the values, renew the institutions, and redirect the priorities of a nation that Barack Obama promised to “fundamentally transform” – and did over what amounted to his three terms. For example, Mr. Trump’s “commonsense” has reaffirmed that there are two genders, one national language, and no justification for our underwriting the growing threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party. Righting the ship of state in order to Make America Great Again is what Mr. Trump received a mandate to do. What It Will Take to Get an Actual Peace in Ukraine 0:56

It’s easier to pause conflicts than resolve them. Absent decisive military outcomes, ceasefires like the latest Mideast ones have simply given Israel’s enemies the opportunity to regroup, rearm, and resume hostilities at will. The lesson has not been lost on Ukraine. President Trump understandably seeks to stop the carnage there. So, he fashioned a deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy designed to achieve a ceasefire without explicitly committing the United States to providing security guarantees the Ukrainians seek in case the Russians subsequently restart the war. Despite the spectacular miscarriage of the White House meeting last Friday where the minerals deal was supposed to be inked, it remains the best hope for translating a temporary suspension of hostilities into an actual peace that will require an end to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s territorial ambitions, however, not just Ukraine’s efforts to resist them. President Trump has providentially tapped retired general Dan “Razin” Caine to be the next Joint Chiefs Chairman. That extraordinary step was prompted by this can-do warrior’s swift defeat of ISIS others insisted would take years. Such leadership and initiative is needed now regarding Mr. Trump’s directive for a Pentagon plan within weeks to defend the American people with our version of Israel’s “Iron Dome” anti-missile defense. The Pete Hegseth-Raizin Caine team could deploy a space-based “Titanium Dome” before the end of this presidency – especially if Elon Musk, with his record of audaciously and swiftly getting big things done in space, rides herd on the effort in the White House. Taiwan yesterday denounced Chinese military incursions, including “shooting exercises” in international shipping routes. Such drills demonstrate the Chinese Communist Party’s capability for no-notice action against the democratic island nation. President Trump declined yesterday to say how he would respond to such an attack. And defense contractor RAND recently engaged in astonishing “threat deflation,” contending that “the People’s Liberation Army remains focused on upholding CCP rule, not preparing for war.” So, where do things actually stand? With thousands of Chinese soldiers now here, Beijing could act against Taiwan while creating conditions that would greatly complicate, if not preclude, a U.S. response. But Mr. Trump’s Cabinet is as hardline on the CCP as any in our history, and his unwillingness to be drawn about a hypothetical Chinese invasion should be seen by Beijing as a deterrent, not an invitation to attack. "Willful Blindness" about Sharia-Supremacism at 30 - and Counting 0:56

Thirty years ago today, Sharia supremacists attacked New York City’s World Trade Center, narrowly missing its destruction, ultimately wrought by one of the perpetrators’ uncle, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, on 9/11 eight years later. Arguably, the latter act would not have happened if America had initially understood the totalitarian Islamic doctrine that impelled such violence against us. Instead, as the ’93 bombing’s lead prosecutor, Andrew McCarthy, observed, we engaged in “willful blindness” about Sharia and failed to learn that it demands faithful adherents practice jihad. Another merchant ship under the control of the Chinese Communist Party has apparently been responsible for cutting an important piece of undersea infrastructure. On this occasion the location was close to home, in waters near a Taiwanese island. And, as has been the case as far away as the Baltic Sea, the damage was done by the vessel’s anchor to a key fiber optic cable. Sometimes, the disruption was to an energy pipeline. National security sophisticates describe such incidents as “gray zone” actions, meaning they don’t rise to the level of actual warfare. But that is just a rationale justifying inaction on the part of the nations impacted. In fact, these are acts of war. They are part of a military doctrine that calls for “shaping the battlefield” in preparation for hostilities and can confer a possibly decisive advantage on the perpetrating party. In a memo on Friday, President Trump described the Chinese Communist Party’s PRC as a “foreign adversary.” He has initiated financial warfare steps aimed at ending our underwriting of this enemy. Unbeknownst to most Americans, the Chinese Communist Party has waged "unrestricted warfare" against the United States for decades. The designated terrorist group Hamas has released the bodies of four Israelis seized during its genocidal attack on Israel on October 7th, 2023. The corpses of a mother and her two infant children were among them. These victims’ remains were returned pursuant to what is, in accord with Mohammed’s example, a “hudna” or temporary pause affording the jihadists an opportunity to regroup, rearm, and resume the war at a time of their choosing. Hamas officials have repeatedly said they will conduct more October 7th-style invasions when they can. Adding obscene insult to the immense injury originally inflicted is that Israel is paying to get back its dead innocents by returning to the fight hundreds of highly accomplished terrorist convicts. Cut Our Enemies' Military Budgets Without Gutting Ours 0:57

President Trump recently proposed to meet with Russian and Chinese dictators Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping to agree to cut the three nations’ military expenditures by half. At a time when Xi’s regime is engaged in a whole-of-society People’s War against the United States – and rapidly building up the means of making it a shooting one – dramatic reductions in such spending would clearly be desirable. Ditto its subsidizing of Russia’s war in Ukraine and Putin’s resulting weapons binge. Fortunately, we don’t have to gut our own national security to achieve these laudable goals. President Trump has long insisted that our European allies need to pay more for their own defense, most recently by allocating fully five percent of Gross Domestic Product. Therefore, the Europeans have spent with impunity on “butter” while letting us largely pay for the “guns.” Most balked at honoring even their NATO commitment to spend two percent. Mr. Trump’s unilateral negotiations with Russia on ending the Ukraine war, however, are concentrating the Europeans’ minds. They fear Vladimir Putin’s territorial ambitions will not be satisfied by a deal legitimating his seizure of much of Ukraine and that America’s announced re-focus on the growing Chinese threat risks a security vacuum on the continent. TBD is whether the allies will opt for appeasing Russia or take more responsibility for their own security – sensibly inside NATO or via a duplicative and inevitably inadequate European military structure. U.S. government and business leaders have long promoted the glories of “globalization.” With its reliance on low-cost foreign producers, notably in Communist China, to supply critical materials, components, and equipment, the integration of markets and national interests seemed not only desirable economically but strategically sound. In fact, this model resulted in the wholesale destruction of America’s industrial base and a dangerous dependence on a hostile power for everything from medicine to advanced electronic products. An alarming webinar on Friday documented that even the U.S. military now is critically reliant on our enemy, the Chinese Communist Party. The Wall Street Journal reports today that many businesses are finally moving en masse to production facilities outside of China. Unfortunately, so are the Chinese.
