Thomas begins a new series on the Parables of Jesus, though not just explaining some of the more well-known parables – the point of this series is to truly understand what a parable is, why Jesus taught with them, Jesus’ Old Testament background, and how to use them in our lives. Today we begin with the parables in Mark 4, particularly the parable of the farmer sowing seed.
