Welcome to the mid point of January of the New Year with the Fantasy Docs NBA Podcast. It’s a bad time to be a big man in the NBA and we have a slew of returning players coming back from injury. It’s been a wild ride of a year in the NBA and somewhat of a trainwreck for teams like the Raptors, Warriors, Bulls, Pelicans and Kings, who have just been destroyed by the injury bug going around. Now we have gotten quite into the rehab process for a lot of players this year. With many non-surgical injuries, mild acute sprains and strains take about 1-2 weeks and moderate to severe ones can take anywhere from 3-4 to 4-6 weeks depending on where the injury is and who the injury is to. You may have picked up a little bit about this if you have been following us so far and we wanted to use this podcast as a platform for you to understand not just how injuries work and how to recover, but how to make smart decisions with your fantasy roster, player management and load management in general. We have some news for you and today, our hosts Dr. Marco Lopez and Dr. Harold Pan along with numbers and stats guy - Nate the Intern are here to talk about the injury season 2020 in the NBA.
