Michele speaks with Ms Anomi Wanigasekera from Julius & Creasy in Sri Lanka in this episode.
We look back at Anomi's article "Protections of well-known trademarks in Sri Lanka", published in the Women's IP World annual 2021. We also discussed her fascinating IP background and history and her special attachment with the firm she worked at for so many years.
Anomi heads the Intellectual Property Group. She has extensive experience in the full range of enforcement, management and transactional matters pertaining to intellectual property law, including representing clients before the National Intellectual Property Office, acting for multinationals as well as Sri Lankan conglomerates in respect of infringement actions, applying for injunctions and search and/or seizure orders. She also overlooks the drafting and reviewing of contracts and advises on regulatory compliance matters.
