The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Transit Workers Union (TWU Local 100) Unveil NYC Subway Customer Service Centers. First Six Centers to Open in Early 2023 in All Five Boroughs, with fifteen customer service centers to open in 2023. 7 Line service between Queensboro Plaza and 34th St-Hudson Yards will be suspended for six weeks between February and April due to the start of ADA Accessibility project. NYPD under scrutiny and brutal criticism for allowing fascist, racist Proud Boys to arrive in Jackson Heights, Queens to terrorize a local library for their storytime activities only to be met by pro-LBGTQ protestors and community members. After the incident, they (the Proud Boys) were escorted through the neighborhood, back to the Roosevelt Av station and did not have to pay the fare, courtesy of the NYPD, that got people questioning the NYPD’s integrity and who they TRULY SERVE.
