Entrepreneurship, Tools for Balance, and Pursuit of Failure with Miles
Manage episode 363993785 series 3478070
The gem drop from Miles: “How much more greatness, accuracy, confidence, and certainty do you gain being within a thing forever versus leaving a thing?”
In this episode, Miles is helping us learn about:
- What it really means to be an entrepreneur
- Psychological and tactical tools to help balance projects (and life!)
- Learning to process and love failure
Miles is focused on people and potential. He’s an entrepreneur who is passionate about serving the community, especially in the Oakland-Bay Area.
He is the co-founder of DEVLAND, a platform for wildly gifted people to address incredibly relevant societal issues that impact us all, through entrepreneurship and public service. He is also the President of Sanctuary for Sustainable Artistry, a 501(c)3 organization which serves as a place to nurture, empower, and sustain the dreams of micro entrepreneurs. Visit the micromarket space at 977 Broadway in Oakland!
Basically, we’re just both high-functioning over-achievers who are learning to take it day.by.day ☺️
When we flip the script, Miles asks me about:
- What has been the most substantial “aha!” moment of learning that you’ve gained about yourself?
